Established in 1831 by Bernard Bichot in Monthélie and relocated to Beaune in 1912, Maison Albert Bichot represents six generations of Burgundian wine merchant and domaine prestige. Under the leadership of Albéric Bichot, the family has developed a mosaic of six autonomous domaines spanning over 100 hectares from Chablis to Beaujolais: Domaine Long-Depaquit, Domaine du Clos Frantin, Château-Gris, Domaine du Pavillon, Domaine Adélie, and Domaine de Rochegrès. The estate vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Côte Chalonnaise hold Ecocert organic certification, farmed with meticulous soil preservation and site-specific viticulture. Vinification emphasizes non-interventionist principles, gravity-fed cellar handling, ambient yeast fermentations, and delicate oak maturation tailored to each terroir's character.
