✨ Technical Specifications
Crafted by the historic house of Albert Bichot, founded in Beaune in 1831, 'Mr No Sulfite' represents a modern, eco-conscious chapter in Beaujolais winemaking. This vibrant red is made entirely from Gamay grapes sourced from the rolling granitic hills of Beaujolais. True to its playful name, the wine is vinified without the addition of sulfur dioxide, requiring meticulous hygiene in the cellar and precise temperature control to preserve the purest expression of the fruit. Utilizing traditional semi-carbonic maceration, the winemakers coax out exuberant aromas of fresh raspberry, wild strawberry, and subtle floral undertones. It bridges the gap between centuries-old Burgundian expertise and the contemporary natural wine movement, offering a clean, joyful, and unadulterated expression of the Gamay grape.
