Corte Giara was established in 1989 by the legendary Allegrini family, renowned pioneers of Veneto winemaking, to create modern, expressive wines that honor regional traditions. This Chiaretto is sourced from the morainic hills surrounding Lake Garda, where the massive body of water creates a mild, almost Mediterranean microclimate. The wine is a classic blend of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Molinara. The name 'Chiaretto' derives from 'chiaro' (pale), referring to the light pink color obtained through a very brief skin maceration. Fermented entirely in stainless steel to retain its pristine fruit character, this rosé captures the essence of summer in Veneto, offering vibrant notes of wild strawberries, redcurrants, and a touch of saline minerality driven by the lake-influenced glacial soils.
