Hailing from the morainic hills south of Lake Garda, Oasi Mantellina represents the prestigious Allegrini family's dedicated venture into the Lugana DOC. This white wine is crafted predominantly from Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana), a grape deeply rooted in the region's white clay and limestone soils. The name 'Oasi Mantellina' pays homage to a serene, protected natural oasis within the vineyard area, evoking a sense of harmony and biodiversity. To preserve the grape's signature vibrant acidity and intense floral and citrus aromas, the wine is fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks on its fine lees. This meticulous process yields a Lugana of remarkable elegance, characterized by its distinct minerality, notes of white peach, and a refreshing, almond-tinged finish that reflects the unique lacustrine microclimate.
