Pian delle Vigne, crafted by the historic Antinori family, represents a masterful expression of Brunello di Montalcino. Acquired by the Antinori family in 1995, the estate takes its name from a charming 19th-century railway station located within its boundaries. This 100% Sangiovese (Brunello) wine is born from clay-calcareous soils rich in skeleton (small stones) situated south of Montalcino, which impart a signature mineral complexity and refined structure. Following traditional Brunello regulations, the wine undergoes meticulous fermentation followed by aging in large oak casks (botti) rather than small barriques, preserving the pure, vibrant cherry fruit, savory herbs, and earthy undertones characteristic of the region's terroir. The Antinori family's centuries-old winemaking heritage shines through in this elegant, deeply complex red that beautifully balances power and grace.

Tracing its winemaking heritage back to 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Guild of Florentine Winemakers, Marchesi Antinori stands as one of the world's most enduring and influential wine dynasties.
