Marchesi Antinori, a family synonymous with Tuscan winemaking excellence since 1385, crafts this vibrant Vermentino primarily from their coastal estates, notably Guado al Tasso in the Bolgheri region of Tuscany. The proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea plays a crucial role, as warm Mediterranean sunshine is tempered by cooling maritime breezes, allowing the Vermentino grapes to ripen fully while maintaining essential acidity. Historically, Vermentino has thrived along the Mediterranean coast, and Antinori's expression captures this coastal terroir beautifully. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation, the wine preserves its natural crispness, offering a bouquet of citrus fruits, white flowers, and a distinct saline minerality that reflects its seaside origin.

Marchesi Antinori er et af verdens mest traditionsrige og indflydelsesrige vindynastier med rødder, der går helt tilbage til 1385, hvor Giovanni di Piero Antinori blev optaget i det florentinske vinmagerlaug. Gennem mere end 26 generationer har familien forenet en dyb respekt for toscansk vintradition med modig nytænkning – ikke mindst som afgørende drivkraft bag Supertoscaner-revolutionen i slutningen af det 20. århundrede. Med udgangspunkt i det arkitektoniske mesterværk af et hovedsæde i San Casciano in Val di Pesa råder vinhuset over prestigefyldte ejendomme i Toscana, Umbrien og internationalt, hvor dyrkningen altid er dedikeret til at indfange det enkelte terroirs unikke sjæl.
