The 2024 vintage in the Rheingau was marked by a damp spring followed by a warm, humid summer, requiring meticulous canopy management to ensure healthy fruit. The wine is crafted from 100% Riesling grapes, fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve its natural acidity, bright fruit profile, and mineral tension.

Founded in 1924, the August Kesseler estate is situated in Assmannshausen within Germany's prestigious Rheingau region. The winery reached international prominence after August Kesseler took the helm from his parents in 1977 at just nineteen years of age, transforming the property through rigorous vineyard management and low-yield philosophies.
