Catarina Tinto is a tribute to the rich historical tapestry of the Pen nsula de Set bal and pays homage to Dona Catarina de Bragana, the Portuguese princess who became Queen of England. Grown in the region's distinctive clay-limestone and sandy soils, this red wine benefits from a Mediterranean climate tempered by cool Atlantic breezes. The winemaking process combines traditional fermentation with partial aging in French oak barrels, creating a harmonious balance between vibrant fruit and subtle oak complexity. It beautifully showcases the regional synergy between the structured, traditional Castelo grape and the deep, intense character of Alicante Bouschet and Syrah.
