Hailing from the historic cellars of Banfi Piemonte in Strevi, the Cuvée Aurora Millesimato Rosé is a sparkling testament to the rigorous Metodo Classico tradition of northern Italy. Crafted predominantly from Pinot Nero grapes grown in the high-altitude, mineral-rich clay and limestone soils of Piedmont, this vintage sparkler undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle followed by extensive lees aging. The name 'Aurora' evokes the Roman goddess of dawn, reflecting the luminous pink hue of the wine and the fresh, awakening acidity harvested in the cool morning hours. Banfi's dedication to Piedmontese sparkling wine heritage shines through in this cuvée, which marries the structure and red-fruit complexity of Pinot Nero with the elegant, creamy texture derived from years of patient cellar aging.

Banfi blev grundlagt i 1978 af de italiensk-amerikanske brødre John og Harry Mariani og har sit hjerte omkring den historiske middelalderfæstning Castello di Poggio alle Mura i toscanske Montalcino.
