Banfi's Cuvée Aurora Millesimato represents a harmonious marriage between Tuscan pioneering spirit and the historic sparkling traditions of Piedmont. Produced at Banfi's Piedmontese estate in Strevi, this Metodo Classico sparkling wine is crafted from a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grown in high-altitude, calcareous-clay soils. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and rests on its lees for at least 30 months, developing a refined complexity. The name 'Aurora' pays homage to the Roman goddess of dawn, symbolizing the fresh, luminous start of Piedmont's sparkling wine heritage, which dates back to the mid-19th century.
