Named in honor of Baron Henri de Rothschild—the multi-talented physician, playwright, and philanthropist who was the father of the legendary Baron Philippe—this cuvee is a tribute to family heritage. Crafted by the winemaking team of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Baron Henri is a classic Bordeaux Rouge that represents the elegant, approachable side of the region. The blend is typically dominated by Merlot, which provides roundness and lush red fruit flavors, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc for structure, spice, and herbal complexity. Sourced from selected vineyards across the Bordeaux appellation, the grapes undergo traditional vinification in temperature-controlled vats, followed by careful aging to preserve the vibrant fruit character while softening the tannins. It tells the story of a family's enduring passion for the terroirs of Bordeaux, offering a refined yet accessible entry into the region's classic style.
