Deeply rooted in the ancestral heritage of Chile, 'Mapu' takes its name from the Mapuche word for 'Earth,' paying homage to the indigenous people who first cultivated this land. Crafted by the legendary French winemaking house Baron Philippe de Rothschild, this Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon represents a harmonious bridge between Old World expertise and New World terroir. Sourced from selected vineyards in Chile's sun-drenched Central Valley, the grapes benefit from a Mediterranean climate with hot days and cool nights influenced by the Andes. A portion of the wine is aged in French oak barrels to impart subtle structure and spice, resulting in a rich, fruit-forward expression that celebrates the vibrant biodiversity and ancient soils of its Chilean origin.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner. Huset regnes i dag blandt klodens ypperste familieejede vinvirksomheder.
