Crafted under the esteemed lineage of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, this Merlot represents a harmonious marriage between Bordeaux winemaking expertise and the sun-drenched terroir of the Languedoc in Southern France. Historically known for pioneering varietal wines in the Pays d'Oc, the Rothschild family selected the Languedoc for its diverse soils and Mediterranean climate, which allow the Merlot grape to achieve optimal ripeness. The wine is typically fermented in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant fruit character, resulting in a round, supple red defined by luscious notes of plum, blackberry, and subtle herbaceous undertones, reflecting the rich heritage of one of wine history's most legendary families.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. blev grundlagt af Baron Philippe de Rothschild og har hjemsted i Pauillac i Bordeaux – en af verdens mest berømte vinregioner. Huset regnes i dag blandt klodens ypperste familieejede vinvirksomheder.
