Hailing from the legendary 'La Mailloche' vineyard, famous for its dense, heavy Lias clay soils, this cuvée is a masterclass in the traditional oxidative style of the Jura. The name 'Dévoilé' (meaning 'unveiled') refers to the wine's aging process 'sous voile'—under a delicate veil of wild yeast—for several years, though bottled earlier than a traditional Vin Jaune. This deliberate, controlled oxidation coaxes out complex layers of walnut, fenugreek, and exotic spices, while the heavy clay of La Mailloche imparts a profound, saline minerality and a remarkably powerful, structured palate. It represents a bridge between the ancient, mysterious traditions of Jura winemaking and modern terroir-driven precision.

Established in 1962 by André and Mireille Tissot and taken over by their son Stéphane alongside his wife Bénédicte in 1990, Domaine Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot is an iconic benchmark of the Jura region, located in the village of Montigny-lès-Arsures near Arbois, France. A relentless pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture, Stéphane transitioned the estate to biodynamics in the early 2000s, championing minimal-intervention cellar techniques and native yeast fermentations to reveal hyper-specific terroirs.
