Sourced primarily from the cool-climate Gamble Ranch in Oakville, where morning fog and warm afternoons allow Chardonnay grapes to develop intense tropical and stone fruit flavors while retaining vital acidity. The wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels, undergoing full malolactic fermentation and extensive sur lie aging with regular stirring.
