Beringer, established in 1876 by brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer, is Napa Valley's oldest continuously operating winery and a cornerstone of American winemaking history. While famous for its pioneering reserve reds, Beringer also played a monumental role in popularizing Zinfandel-based rosés in the late 20th century. The Zinfandel Rose Classic is crafted from Zinfandel grapes grown in California's sun-drenched valleys. To capture its signature bright and approachable style, the juice is quickly separated from the skins after crushing to achieve a delicate pink hue, followed by a cold fermentation in stainless steel. This process preserves the vibrant, sweet-tart fruit profile of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and subtle citrus, offering a nostalgic nod to the historic, easy-drinking style that introduced millions of consumers to California wine.
