Bevan Cellars Chardonnay represents an opulent, full-throttle expression of California's premier cool-climate vineyards, most notably the historic Ritchie Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Renowned for its old Wente clone vines planted in 1972, this terroir imparts a rare combination of intense concentration, tropical fruit notes, and vibrant acidity. Winemaker Russell Bevan employs classic, high-intervention Burgundian techniques to craft this showstopper, including barrel fermentation, native yeast inoculation, and regular battonage (lees stirring) in French oak barrels. The result is a texturally luxurious white wine that balances decadent creaminess with a driving mineral core, capturing the dramatic, larger-than-life style that has made Bevan a cult legend.

Bevan Cellars blev grundlagt i 2005 af den anerkendte, autodidakte vinmager Russell Bevan og Victoria De Crescenzo og har siden etableret sig som en af Californiens mest prestigefyldte og topanmeldte kultproducenter. Vingården har base i Napa Valley og henter sine druer fra minutiøst udvalgte parceller på legendariske terroirs i både Napa og Sonoma – herunder eftertragtede marker i Oakville, Pritchard Hill og Bennett Valley. Russell Bevans filosofi i mark og kældre bygger på kompromisløs markpleje, lave udbytter og en nænsom, minimalistisk vinificering, der fremhæver vinens renhed, overdådige fylde og dybe tekstur.
