The Bevan Cellars McGah Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning expression of Rutherford's legendary terroir. Sourced from the prized blocks within the McGah family vineyard—nestled on the eastern edge of the Rutherford bench—this wine benefits from the classic 'Rutherford Dust' soils, which impart a unique mineral complexity and refined, dusty tannins. Winemaker Russell Bevan applies his signature style of extreme vineyard selectivity, harvesting at peak physiological ripeness to capture the maximum intensity of the fruit. In the cellar, the wine undergoes native yeast fermentation and is aged in premium French oak barrels, bottled unfined and unfiltered. The result is a spectacularly opulent, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon that seamlessly marries decadent dark fruit flavors with the classic structural elegance and cocoa-powder undertones of its historic Rutherford heritage.
