The Stags Leap District is legendary for its unique microclimate, where afternoon heat is trapped by the towering rock palisades and then rapidly cooled by breezes from the San Pablo Bay. This dramatic diurnal shift, combined with well-drained volcanic soils, coaxes out Cabernet Sauvignon of extraordinary depth and velvety texture.
