Their Premier Cru 'Combes'—originating from the 'Les Combes' climat which borders Chassagne-Montrachet—represents a beautifully nuanced, terroir-driven expression of Pinot Noir. The term 'combe' refers to a small valley or depression in the hillside, a geological feature that shelters the vines from wind while maximizing sun exposure. The soils here are a classic mix of limestone and clay, which imparts a vibrant minerality, bright acidity, and fine-grained tannins to the wine.
