Founded in 1731, Bouchard Pere et Fils is one of Burgundy's oldest and most venerable wine estates, headquartered in the historic Chateau de Beaune. The 'Cuvee Les Grands Chemins' (The Great Roads) is a beautifully crafted tribute to the historic merchant routes that the Bouchard family traversed for centuries to source the finest Pinot Noir grapes across the golden slopes of the Cote d'Or. This red Burgundy is crafted entirely from Pinot Noir, sourced from select parcels that showcase the classic marriage of clay and limestone soils. Vinified with traditional Burgundian techniques and aged in French oak barrels within the cool, subterranean bastions of the Chateau, this cuvee captures the vibrant, red-fruit character and elegant earthiness that define classic regional Pinot Noir.

Bouchard Père & Fils blev grundlagt i 1731 af Michel Bouchard og er et af Bourgognes ældste og mest agtede vinhuse, med base i det historiske Château de Beaune fra det 15. århundrede. Gennem næsten tre århundreders omhyggelige opkøb har vinhuset opbygget en enestående mosaik af vinmarker, som i dag dækker omkring 130 hektar i Côte d'Or, herunder en lang række prestigefyldte Grand Cru- og Premier Cru-parceller. Husets filosofi bygger på parcel-for-parcel-vinificering og en nænsom fadlagring i de underjordiske fæstningskældre, hvilket bringer de enkelte climats subtile nuancer frem i lyset.
