Known affectionately as the 'Chardonnay Capital of New Zealand,' Gisborne's warm maritime climate and fertile clay-loam soils foster optimal ripening. This wine beautifully captures the region's signature style, showcasing lush stone fruit aromas of ripe peach and nectarine, complemented by subtle citrus undertones. To build complexity and a creamy texture, the wine typically undergoes partial malolactic fermentation and light oak maturation, balancing the vibrant fruit with a soft, rounded finish that honors Gisborne's historic role in the nation's white wine heritage.

Brancott Estate blev grundlagt i 1973 af Frank Yukich under Montana Wines og indtager en helt særlig plads i historien som pioneren bag kommerciel vinavl i Marlborough.
