Brokenwood's Harlequin Dry White is a vibrant and expressive multi-varietal blend that captures the playful spirit of New South Wales winemaking. Named after the colorful, patchwork costume of the classic Italian theatrical character, the Harlequin represents a harmonious assembly of classic white varieties, typically featuring Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Verdelho. Unlike the estate's single-vineyard, highly cellared Semillons, the Harlequin is crafted for immediate pleasure, combining the crisp, citrus-driven structure of Semillon with the tropical aromatics of Verdelho and the bright, grassy freshness of Sauvignon Blanc. It is fermented in stainless steel to preserve its clean, fruit-forward profile and lively acidity, making it an approachable and highly refreshing expression of the region's diverse terroir.
