The 'Generazione Mille898' line by Cantine Nicosia pays tribute to the historic founding year of the estate, celebrating over a century of viticultural heritage on the slopes of Mount Etna. This Pinot Nero is a fascinating Sicilian interpretation of the classic Burgundian grape, cultivated in high-altitude volcanic vineyards where the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts and mineral-rich soils allow this delicate variety to thrive. Fermented in stainless steel and aged partially in oak, it showcases a refined balance of bright red fruit, subtle spice, and a distinctive volcanic minerality that sets it apart from continental expressions.
