Hailing from the dramatic, mountainous landscapes of Trentino in northern Italy, Cavit's '4 Vicariati' Rosso Superiore is a tribute to the historical administrative districts—the four vicarages of Ala, Avio, Brentonico, and Mori—that once guarded the southern reaches of the Bishopric of Trento. This elegant red blend is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grown in the gravelly, sun-drenched vineyards of the Vallagarina. Influenced by the cooling alpine breezes and the moderating warmth of nearby Lake Garda, the grapes develop intense aromatic complexity. The wine undergoes traditional fermentation followed by careful aging in oak barriques, resulting in a structured, harmonious profile characterized by ripe dark forest fruits, plum, subtle herbaceous undertones, and refined spice.

Cavit (Cantina Viticoltori del Trentino) blev grundlagt i 1950 og er et førende kooperativ med hovedsæde i Ravina di Trento, omgivet af det dramatiske alpine landskab i Trentino-Alto Adige i Italien.
