Channing Daughters' Gewurztraminer Petillant Naturel is a vibrant, ancestral-method sparkling wine that captures the playful, aromatic potential of the Gewurztraminer grape on Long Island's East End. Produced using the ancient 'pét-nat' technique, the wine is bottled before its primary fermentation is complete, trapping the natural carbon dioxide to create a gentle, rustic effervescence. Unfiltered and unfined, it remains cloudy with active yeasts, offering a textured, raw expression of the maritime terroir of Bridgehampton. The cool ocean breezes and unique silt-loam soils of the South Fork preserve the grape's bright acidity while allowing its exotic, floral, and spicy character to shine. This bottling represents the winery's experimental spirit and commitment to minimal-intervention winemaking.

Channing Daughters Winery blev grundlagt af Walter Channing, som plantede de første vinstokke i 1982 i Bridgehampton på Long Islands South Fork. I dag fremstår vinhuset som en af New Yorks mest opfindsomme og grænsesøgende håndværksproducenter.
