Crafted by the pioneering team at Channing Daughters on the South Fork of Long Island, this Pétillant Naturel is a vibrant celebration of the Sylvanus Vineyard. Named after the Roman god of forests and fields, the Sylvanus Vineyard was planted in 1999 and is characterized by its Bridgehampton silt loam soils and cooling maritime breezes. Utilizing the ancient méthode ancestrale, this sparkling wine is bottled before its primary fermentation is complete, trapping the natural carbon dioxide to create a gentle, cloudy, and joyful effervescence. The spotlight is on Tocai Friulano, a grape native to northeastern Italy that thrives in this maritime terroir, contributing unique notes of white blossoms, bitter almond, and wild orchard fruit. Unfiltered and unfined, it represents a rustic yet highly sophisticated approach to natural sparkling wine on the East End.

Founded by Walter Channing with initial vineyard plantings dating back to 1982 in Bridgehampton on Long Island's South Fork, Channing Daughters Winery stands as one of New York's most inventive and boundary-pushing artisanal producers.
