The name of the estate, Pas du Cerf (meaning 'step of the deer'), draws from a colorful local legend dating back to a royal hunting expedition with King Francis I, where a magnificent stag made a miraculous leap to escape its pursuers. The Club Rosé is crafted to embody the vibrant, sun-drenched spirit of the French Riviera. Sourced from the estate's schist-rich soils within the IGP Var, the vineyards benefit from the cooling maritime breezes of the nearby Mediterranean Sea, which help preserve acidity in the grapes. The winemaking process focuses on gentle pneumatic pressing, cold settling, and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to capture the delicate, bright red-berry aromas and crisp, mineral-driven finish that define classic Provençal rosé.
