Released as a limited edition, this expression is a marriage of exceptionally rare, old single grain Scotch whiskies—specifically a 42-year-old from the Invergordon distillery and a 29-year-old from Cameronbridge. John Glaser, the visionary founder of Compass Box, sought to showcase the profound depth, luscious sweetness, and velvety texture that only decades of oak maturation can bestow upon grain spirits. Historically, grain whisky was relegated to the background of blended Scotch, but Hedonism Maximus elevates it to center stage, offering an opulent sensory journey filled with notes of vanilla, ripe stone fruits, and exotic spices.
