First introduced in 2006, Compass Box's Flaming Heart was a landmark creation that challenged traditional Scotch conventions by marrying a bold, peat-smoke profile with the rich, spicy sweetness of heavy-toasted French oak. The 7th Edition, released to mark the legacy of this cult-classic series, represents a masterful performance of blending. It harmonizes heavily peated Islay single malts with complex Highland malts matured in custom-built casks featuring toasted French oak heads. This edition also incorporates a portion of older, sherry-cask finished malt whiskies, adding a deep, dried-fruit complexity to the signature maritime smoke and sweet spice. It is a dramatic, multi-layered whisky inspired by the raw energy of rock music, designed to showcase how smoke and wood can sing in perfect, intense harmony.
