The third and final act in Compass Box's acclaimed peat-focused series, 'No Name, No. 3' is a masterclass in expressive, smoky blending. Conceived under the philosophy that the liquid should speak entirely for itself without the distraction of a grand title, this limited edition blended malt is anchored by a massive, tarry, and medicinal single malt from the Laphroaig Distillery on Islay. To temper and complicate this intense peat, the blending team introduced fruity, textured malt from Bowmore, alongside meaty Mortlach and waxy Clynelish, finished with a touch of their proprietary toasted French oak Highland malt blend. The result is a dramatic, multi-layered sensory experience that honors the wild, maritime heritage of Scotland's western isles while showcasing the sophisticated artistry of modern blending.
