This specific expression pays homage to the heavily peated, deeply complex blends of yesteryear, where intense coastal smoke seamlessly integrated with rich, mature grain whiskies. To achieve this ethereal character, the blending house combined legendary peated single malts from distilleries like Ardbeg and Caol Ila with exceptionally smooth, aged grain whiskies from Cameronbridge and Girvan. The result is a liquid time capsule that balances wild bonfire smoke, maritime brine, and herbal undertones with a silky, vanilla-rich sweetness, showcasing the blender's art at its absolute pinnacle.
