Cooper's Hawk Super Tuscan pays homage to the revolutionary spirit of 1970s Tuscan winemakers who defied rigid local regulations to blend native Sangiovese with international varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Sourced from the rolling, sun-drenched hills of Tuscany, Italy, this wine captures the classic clay-limestone terroir of the region. The winemaking team carefully selects and imports these premium grapes, crafting a blend that balances the vibrant acidity and rustic charm of traditional Italian grapes with the bold structure and rich fruit profiles of French varieties. It is a celebration of modern Italian winemaking history, bringing a taste of Tuscan rebellion to contemporary tables.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants blev grundlagt i 2005 af iværksætteren Tim McEnery i Orland Park, Illinois, og har siden udviklet sig til et af USA's mest omfattende vin- og gastronomikoncepter med hovedsæde i Downers Grove. Huset arbejder ud fra en nyskabende model, hvor førsteklasses druer hentes hjem fra anerkendte vinmarker i Californien, Italien, Spanien og Australien, mens selve vinifikationen, sammenstikningen og fadlagringen er samlet i Illinois. Filosofien i kælderen lægger vægt på tilgængelige, madvenlige og harmoniske vine, der er skabt til at komplementere et bredt spektrum af gastronomiske oplevelser.
