✨ Technical Specifications
Produced in the warm, Mediterranean-influenced landscapes of the Pays d'Oc around Cébazan, Cuvée Dissenay Chardonnay captures the sunny, vibrant character of Languedoc-Roussillon. Harvested from diverse soils including clay and limestone, the fruit benefits from hot days tempered by maritime breezes, preserving essential acidity. Vinified primarily in stainless steel with a brief period on fine lees, this modern white wine showcases pristine fruit clarity and balanced richness without heavy oak influence.
🍾 About the Producer
Cuvée Dissenay is a dedicated varietal wine brand vinified by Les Producteurs Réunis (Union des Caves Coopératives) in Cébazan, situated in the heart of western Languedoc within the Hérault department. Sourced across select vineyard plots framed between the rugged slopes of the Montagne Noire and the warm Mediterranean coast, the fruit benefits from diurnal cooling influences that temper the region's generous southern sunshine. Viticulture across the cooperative’s partner network follows sustainable principles under High Environmental Value (HVE) guidelines, set upon mosaic soils of clay-limestone, sandstone, and schist. Winemaking overseen by seasoned oenologists emphasizes temperature-regulated stainless-steel fermentation to capture clean varietal definition, supplemented by judicious French oak influence on select cuvées. Benchmark bottlings include a rich, lightly oaked Chardonnay, a supple and vibrant Pinot Noir, a crisp Grenache Noir rosé, and a peppery Syrah, representing fruit-forward, approachable expressions tailored for immediate gastronomic pleasure.
