CVNE's Corona Semidulce is a legendary name in the history of Rioja white wines. Founded in 1879 in Haro's famous Barrio de la Estación, Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) created Corona as a tribute to Spanish heritage, and it became one of the country's most historic sweet styles. Traditionally crafted primarily from Viura with a small blending portion of Malvasía de Rioja, the grapes are sourced from the cool, Atlantic-influenced clay-limestone vineyards of Rioja Alta. The fermentation is carefully arrested to preserve a delicate balance of natural residual sweetness.
