CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España), founded in Haro's legendary Barrio de la Estación in 1879, is one of Rioja's most historic producers. Among its many achievements is Monopole, first released in 1915, making it the oldest registered white wine brand in Spain. The Monopole Blanco Seco represents a fresh, vibrant, and contemporary expression of this historic label. Crafted primarily from the indigenous Viura grape grown in the cool, clay-limestone soils of Rioja Alta, the wine benefits from an Atlantic-influenced continental climate that preserves its bright acidity. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks without oak aging, it showcases the pure, crisp character of the grape, offering bright citrus, green apple, and white floral notes backed by a refreshing mineral finish. This wine represents a direct link to Rioja's white winemaking heritage, adapted for modern palates seeking freshness and purity.

Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) blev grundlagt i 1879 af brødrene Raimundo og Eusebio Real de Asúa og er et af Riojas mest prestigefyldte og historiske vinhuse, med base i det ikoniske Barrio de la Estación i Haro. Vingården drives den dag i dag af grundlæggernes efterkommere, som forener klassiske vinfremstillingstraditioner med nytænkende innovation på tværs af husets forskellige ejendomme og kældre.
