Originally released in the 1960s as 'd'Arenberg Burgundy', this historic blend was later renamed 'd'Arry's Original' to honor Francis d'Arenberg Osborn (affectionately known as d'Arry), who dedicated over seven decades of his life to the family winery. Crafted from old-vine Shiraz and Grenache grown in the red-brown earths of McLaren Vale, this wine represents the traditional soul of the region. The grapes are gently crushed in the winery's historic 19th-century basket presses and undergo traditional foot-treading. Fermented in open fermenters and aged in seasoned French and American oak barriques, it delivers a rich, savory profile defined by dark plum, earthy spice, and rustic charm.

Founded in 1912 by Joseph Osborn, d'Arenberg has grown into one of McLaren Vale's most iconic and storied family-owned estates in South Australia.
