Named in honor of a significant South Australian invention, the stump-jump plough, which revolutionized global farming in the late 19th century by jumping over stubborn mallee stumps and clay, d'Arenberg's 'The Stump Jump' Shiraz is a tribute to rustic ingenuity. The wine's quirky label is designed as an optician's eye chart, playfully suggesting that if you can read the bottom line after a glass, you are fit to drive. Crafted from premium South Australian vineyards, this wine captures the generous, fruit-driven essence of the region. It undergoes traditional fermentation in open fermenters to preserve its vibrant, juicy character, showcasing rich dark plum, blackberry, and exotic spice notes with a touch of earthy complexity.

d'Arenberg blev grundlagt i 1912 af Joseph Osborn og har siden udviklet sig til en af McLaren Vales mest ikoniske og traditionsrige familieejede vingårde i South Australia. Under ledelse af fjerdegenerations-vinmageren Chester Osborn arbejder vinhuset kompromisløst efter bæredygtige og traditionelle metoder, herunder certificeret økologisk og biodynamisk vindyrkning, fodtrædning af druerne samt kurvepresning.
