Hailing from the 'Bux' lieu-dit in the communal area of Bergholtz, this late-harvest (Vendanges Tardives) Pinot Gris is a testament to Domaine Dirler-Cadé's mastery of biodynamic viticulture. The Bux vineyard features a unique terroir of clay, limestone, and sandstone, which imparts a remarkable mineral backbone to balance the natural sweetness of the late-harvested grapes. Harvested weeks after the main crop, the grapes often benefit from the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), concentrating the sugars, acidity, and complex aromas.
