Marsannay is the northernmost appellation of the Côte de Nuits, often referred to as the 'Golden Gate' to the Côte d'Or. While historically famous for its rosé, its red wines made from Pinot Noir have earned immense respect for their structure, vibrant fruit, and earthy complexity. Domaine Bruno Clair's Marsannay Rouge is a masterclass in this terroir. The Clair family has deep roots here; Bruno's grandfather, Joseph Clair, was instrumental in putting Marsannay on the map in the early 20th century. This cuvée is sourced from several prime parcels across the appellation, featuring clay-limestone soils that impart both power and elegance.
