Domaine Comte Peraldi was established in 1965 by Count Jean-Noël de Poix, who played a pivotal role in securing the official AOC status for Ajaccio in Corsica. Perched on the granite-rich slopes overlooking the Gulf of Ajaccio, the estate is deeply dedicated to preserving native island grape varieties through organic viticulture. The winery is celebrated for its precise white wines made from Vermentinu, as well as complex reds and rosés dominated by Sciaccarellu. Its signature Cuvée Clémence, a rich, barrel-fermented Vermentinu, stands as a prime example of the estate's elegant, terroir-driven winemaking philosophy.
