Nestled at the foot of the majestic Mont de Sène in the southern Côte de Beaune, the Clos de Malte is an exceptional seven-hectare monopole solely owned by Domaine Louis Jadot since 1993. This historic vineyard lies within the Santenay appellation, where the cooler microclimate and unique soil composition—dominated by limestone and marl—create an ideal terroir for Chardonnay. The Clos de Malte Blanc is crafted using traditional Burgundian methods, fermented and aged in oak barrels to achieve a harmonious balance. It beautifully captures the tension between the natural, crisp minerality of the limestone soils and the rich, textured stone-fruit profile characteristic of classic white Burgundy.

Founded in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot, Maison Louis Jadot is one of Burgundy's most iconic and historic wine producers, headquartered in Beaune.
