Situated at the northernmost gateway of the Côte de Nuits, Marsannay is an appellation of rising star status, and 'Les Longeroies' is widely regarded as one of its absolute finest lieu-dit vineyards, frequently championed for future Premier Cru elevation. Domaine Louis Jadot's rendering of this exceptional climat highlights the superb potential of its iron-rich clay and limestone soils. The name 'Longeroies' historically references the long, narrow strips of land ('longères') that trace the hillside. Jadot vinifies this wine with traditional Burgundian precision, utilizing open-top fermenters and aging in French oak casks to preserve the vibrant, dark-cherry fruit and earthy complexity. This bottling captures the wild-berry energy and structured, mineral-driven depth that defines the very best of northern Burgundy.

Maison Louis Jadot blev grundlagt i 1859 af Louis Henry Denis Jadot og er et af Burgundys mest ikoniske og historiske vinhuse med base i Beaune. Gennem mere end halvandet århundrede har huset opbygget en enestående portefølje af prestigefyldte vinmarker på tværs af Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune og videre ud i regionen.
