Sourced from the historic Bien Nacido Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley, this Syrah represents the pinnacle of cool-climate California winemaking. Originally part of the 1837 Rancho Tepusquet land grant, Bien Nacido is blessed with a unique transverse valley orientation that funnels cool maritime fog and winds from the Pacific Ocean. This natural air conditioning extends the growing season, allowing the Syrah grapes to develop complex phenolic ripeness while retaining vibrant acidity. Dominion Tantara utilizes traditional, low-intervention winemaking techniques to craft a wine that showcases the vineyard's signature savory profile, marked by cracked black pepper, dark bramble fruit, and smoked meat nuances. It is a sophisticated expression of a legendary terroir.

Dominion Tantara blev grundlagt i 1997 i det kølige Santa Barbara County i Californien og er en anerkendt artisanal producent, der især udmærker sig med sine terroirdrevne vine på Pinot Noir og Chardonnay.
