Sourced from the wind-swept slopes of the Sta. Rita Hills, Dominion Tantara's Lindsay's Vineyard Pinot Noir is a masterclass in cool-climate California winemaking. Lindsay's Vineyard benefits from the unique transverse valley orientation of the region, which funnels cool maritime breezes and morning fog directly from the Pacific Ocean. This dramatic microclimate slows the ripening process, allowing the Pinot Noir grapes to develop deep, complex flavor profiles while retaining a vibrant, natural acidity. In the cellar, Tantara employs traditional Burgundian techniques, including gentle handling, native yeast fermentations, and aging in select French oak barrels. The resulting wine is celebrated for its elegant structure, showcasing notes of dark cherry, earthy forest floor, and exotic spices, wrapped in silky tannins that reflect the distinctive sandy loam soils of this prized vineyard site.
