The E. Guigal Assortment Case is a legendary treasure trove for Rhône collectors, offering a curated journey through the domain's most prestigious single-vineyard terroirs. Typically anchoring this collection are the iconic 'La Las'—La Mouline, La Turque, and La Landonne—from the dizzyingly steep, hand-harvested terraces of Côte-Rôtie. Étienne Guigal founded the house in 1946 in the ancient village of Ampuis, where vines have clung to Roman-era stone walls for over two millennia. This assortment showcases the dramatic stylistic differences of the Northern Rhône, contrasting the elegant, Viognier-infused Syrah of the Côte Blonde with the powerful, structured, and deeply savory expressions of the Côte Brune. Aged meticulously in Guigal's custom-built cooperage for up to 42 months in new French oak, these wines represent the pinnacle of traditional winemaking heritage and terroir expression.

Domaine E. Guigal blev grundlagt i 1946 af Étienne Guigal i den historiske landsby Ampuis og hører i dag til blandt de mest prestigefyldte og toneangivende vinhuse i Frankrigs Rhône-dal. Familiens stolte arv blev løftet til nye højder under Marcel Guigal og sønnen Philippe, hvilket blandt andet afspejles i den omhyggelige restaurering af renæssanceslottet Château d'Ampuis samt et kompromisløst fokus på langvarig fadlagring med eget bødkeri på ejendommen.
