Named after the traditional sun-dried clay bricks used in historic Chilean architecture, Emiliana's 'Adobe' line pays homage to the ancient, natural relationship between humanity and the earth. Crafted from organically grown grapes in Chile's fertile Central Valley, this Reserva Malbec showcases the winery's pioneering organic philosophy. The Central Valley benefits from a Mediterranean climate where warm, sunny days are tempered by cool evening breezes descending from the Andes Mountains, allowing the Malbec grapes to ripen slowly and retain their natural acidity. Vinified primarily in stainless steel with minimal oak contact to preserve the purity of the fruit, this wine is a vibrant, honest expression of Chilean terroir, characterized by its deep violet hues, lush black fruit aromas, and smooth, approachable tannins.

Emiliana blev grundlagt i 1986 af Guilisasti-familien og har siden udviklet sig til verdens førende producent af økologiske og biodynamiske vine. I slutningen af 1990'erne gik den visionære direktør Rafael Guilisasti sammen med den anerkendte konsulterende vinmager Álvaro Espinoza for at bane vejen for bæredygtig vinavl på tværs af Chiles mest prestigefyldte vinregioner, herunder Casablanca, Maipo, Colchagua og Cachapoal Valleys. Emiliana arbejder ud fra Demeter-certificerede biodynamiske principper, hvor syntetiske sprøjtemidler fravælges til fordel for naturlige præparater og lokal biodiversitet for at lade terroiret komme rent til udtryk. Vingården er særligt berømt for sine biodynamiske flagskibsrødvine, heriblandt Coyam og Gê, samt karakterfulde enkeltmarksvine på Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon og Syrah.
