Born from a quest to map the extreme soil diversity of the Uco Valley, Finca Piedra Infinita Gravascal is a masterclass in terroir-driven viticulture. The name 'Gravascal' refers to a specific 0.73-hectare parcel within the Piedra Infinita vineyard in Paraje Altamira, characterized by shallow alluvial gravels heavily coated with calcium carbonate. Winemaker Sebastián Zuccardi isolated this plot to capture its unique, chalky mineral tension. Fermented in concrete vessels with native yeasts and aged without the influence of new oak, this wine represents a paradigm shift in Argentine Malbec, trading jammy sweetness for profound structure, vibrant acidity, and an intense, stony finish that tells the geological story of the Andes.
