The 'Zuccardi Q' range—where the 'Q' stands for Quality—holds a special place in the estate's history, with the Tempranillo being the very first wine released under this premium tier in 1999. Historically, Tempranillo in Argentina was relegated to bulk wine blends, but the Zuccardi family championed the grape, sourcing fruit from select old vines in Santa Rosa and high-altitude parcels in the Uco Valley. This wine showcases how old-school Argentine viticultural heritage can be elevated through meticulous vineyard selection and gravity-flow winemaking. Fermented in concrete vats and aged in a combination of oak and concrete, it balances the grape's natural rustic charm with modern elegance, offering a complex profile of dark berries, leather, and tobacco.

Founded in 1963 by Alberto Zuccardi in Mendoza, Argentina, Familia Zuccardi has evolved into one of the country's most visionary and prestigious family-owned wine dynasties. Under the leadership of José Alberto Zuccardi and third-generation winemaker Sebastián Zuccardi, the estate has shifted its focus towards high-altitude viticulture in the Uco Valley, pioneering deep geological research and unadorned concrete-vessel fermentations to express genuine site specificity.
