Jacques Perrin was a pioneer who championed the difficult-to-grow Mourvèdre grape and organic viticulture long before they were fashionable. Sourced from the estate's oldest vines rooted in the iconic 'galets roulés' (heat-retaining rolled pebbles) over clay-limestone soils, this cuvée is celebrated for its intense concentration, structure, and soul. Unlike typical Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines which are Grenache-dominant, this masterpiece is defined by its unusually high proportion of ancient Mourvèdre.
